To the Reviewers

All scientific articles submitted to the Journal editorial team undergo bilateral anonymous reviewing, when the author is not given the name of the reviewer and the reviewer is not given the name of the author of the article. Executive Secretary of the Journal determines the compliance of the article with the Journal profile, the requirements for execution and sends the article for initial consideration to the Editor-in-Chief, who checks the scientific context of the manuscript. Afterwards, the article is sent for review.

The review time in each case is determined by the Executive Secretary of the Journal considering the creation of conditions for the fastest publication of the article.

The author of the reviewed article is given the opportunity to read the comments of the reviewer.

If the review contains recommendations for correcting and finalizing the article manuscript, the Responsible Secretary of the AVIATION ENGINES Journal forwards the reviewer’s comments to the author with a suggestion to consider them when preparing a new version of the article manuscript or to argue a contrarian view (partially or completely). The article manuscript finalized (revised) by the author shall be sent for re-reviewing.

The article not recommended by the reviewer for publication is not accepted for re-reviewing.

The text of the negative conclusion is sent to the author by e-mail.

After the Editorial Board and the Editorial Team of the AVIATION ENGINES Scientific and Technical Journal have made a decision on the article publication, the author will be informed thereof with an indication of the publication terms.

Original reviews are stored in the editorial office of the AVIATION ENGINES Scientific and Technical Journal for at least 5 years.

The Editorial Team sends copies of reviews to the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a relevant request.
